CAPS (Club Action Planning Scheme)
The Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS) is a programme designed to captivate you and your netball club. It aims to support you to deliver a quality netball development programme and operate in line with best practice.
CAPS is aligned to Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme which is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensures that accredited clubs operate a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. There are 3 levels of accreditation: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
In line with the Clubmark award, CAPS focusses on four key areas that impact Netball Clubs:
Duty of Care and Child Protection
Coaching and Competition
Sports Equity and Ethics
Support is available to help clubs work through the CAPS process, you can contact your Regional Co-ordinator.
Further information regarding CAPS, including templates, can be found on the England Netball Wesbite CAPS Section.
